Have a look at this and tell me what you make of our superhero on myspace. This was one of our team tasks on the course module Research in Media Culture and Education. If you have a myspace page be one of our new friends…they’re a bit thin on the ground at the moment.
I’m not so much in to Super Heroes, having said that I found this site quite interesting!!
It made me think, what happens behind closed doors, in the superheroes mundane everyday life? do they have children and if so do these childen learn and appropriate their super-parents behaviour, are they interpellated into a discourse of superheroe-ness?

Damn…I’m late!!
Hey people,
What a morning I had today. That stupid alarm didn’t wake me up when it was supposed to, DAB radio may be good for some things but certainly not for alarm calls!
I arrived to the “new” course late this morning – how embarrassing, walking in 15 minutes late – I mean 15 minutes. So much can be done in 15 minutes! – Bloody alarm.
So our first task is to create a Weblog?! This is new to me, and poses so many questions… will I be able to maintain it, do I want the world to read my thoughts and ideas and …Shock, Horror… comment on them!!?
However it could be quite a therapeutic space, my own space… for now at least, until others begin to invade with thoughts or ideas.
I’m enjoying this fidddling about, what a nice background this one is…
outdoorsy, street, gritty, real, analagous to life… I know this life.
Hmm… this blogging lark is cool, I really think I’m going to enjoy this course.
